What conformity checks apply?
Vehicles imported into Saudi Arabia must meet the requirements of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO).
Your clearing agent registers the shipment through the official conformity process. We provide specifications, VINs, weights and emission data early so certificates can be prepared before the vessel arrives. Rules on used-vehicle age apply, so used units must be checked against current limits before purchase.
Which CX-50 trim suits Saudi buyers?
For heat and long highway distances, we recommend a 2.5L trim with dual-zone automatic climate control.
The 2026 2.5L Premium adds leather seats, blind-spot monitoring and 19-inch wheels. Fleet buyers often choose the uniform 2024 2.5L Touring. For desert tracks, the Hybrid AWD adds electric all-wheel drive and an off-road mode.
