How the Mazda CX-50 export process works

You receive the standard export set your clearing agent needs to import the vehicles.

• Commercial invoice and packing list
• Bill of lading (B/L) issued by the carrier
• Certificate of origin (CO)
• Vehicle documents with VIN details
• Any additional certificates your destination requires, where they can be obtained — ask us before ordering

Choose FOB if you already have a forwarder with good rates; choose CIF if you want one price that includes sea freight and insurance to your port.

Under FOB, our responsibility ends when the vehicles are loaded on board at the Chinese port. Under CIF, we also pay freight and minimum insurance to your destination port, while risk passes to you once the vehicles are on board. Both terms are defined in Incoterms® 2020, published by the International Chamber of Commerce.

Ro-Ro is usually cheaper per car for larger orders on regular routes; containers protect paint and interiors and let you combine several models in one shipment.

A 40HQ container typically holds two to four cars depending on size and racking. Read our step-by-step guide on loading three CX-50s into one 40HQ. Mixed-model orders are welcome — we optimise the loading to save freight.

In-stock vehicles can be shipped within 10 working days after payment. Custom or specific models depend on sourcing and preparation.

Ocean transit time depends on the route and sailing schedule, so we confirm it with each quotation. You receive a photo or video update at every milestone — preparation, loading and departure.

Payment terms are agreed for each order and written on the proforma invoice before you pay.
